I've used a whole slew of names on the internet over the years. Right now, I am using OpalUnicorn (or some variation thereof) pretty much everywhere I am active.

If you decide to poke around on this site for more than a few minutes you should get a pretty good idea of who I am as a person. I'm a multiply-neurodivergent woman in my late 20s on the internet. There's millions of us.

Why this site?

I have wanted to create my own "from scratch" website for quite a while. I used to play around with website creation with various free (probably now defunct) website creators when I was quite young. I would estimate about 10-12. I also took a lot of pride in creating custom layouts for Howrse and Tumblr. I don't still have access to most of those, but I am hoping that I can recreate and expand the magic here!

What I'm Into

• Transformers

I love pretty much all Transformers! So far I enjoy IDW, Prime, the Bumblebee Movie, the 80's movie, and G1 the most! I'm super excited for TF One coming out in September 2024, and I have also been keeping up with the Skybound comics. I read and write a lot of TF fanfic hahaha

• My Little Pony

G1, G3, and G4, mostly.

• Horses

My first and most intense special interest! I am especially interested in training theory and the care of horses.

• Linguistics

I liked this so much that I majored in it in undergrad lol maybe not the best or most lucrative choice. We'll see if I ever follow through with my original plan of getting a doctorate in it and becoming a professor/researcher.

• The Korean Language

I wanted to better understand North Korean media and propaganda. This was super intense for a long time, but now is mostly dormant.

• Star Wars

I love love love mandalorians (and The Mandalorian lol) and clones the most!

• The Witcher

I love love love the books and the video games. I didn't really enjoy the Netflix show, but I did like the old Polish show, so...

• The Paranormal

I loveeee spooky stories and am somewhat of a believer, but I do have to take breaks every once in a while because I freak myself out.

• The Phantom of the Opera

This one came about when I was about 10. I love so many different adaptations, but I am a Leroux fan first and foremost.

• Doctor Who

My favorite Doctors are 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 14, and 15 :3 I have loved Doctor Who for such a long time, and it was my main special interest for years. I really love the Big Finish audio plays, hence my love of 5, 6 , 7, and 8. 5 is my very favorite but 15 may be my very close second favorite now! He is amazing!

Actually obsessed with him. My favorite comfort show is All Creatures Great and Small. I allso really love A Very Peculiar Practice and The Last Detective. Obviously, my love of the 5th Doctor is what sparked this.

Another Doctor Who actor that I am literally obsessed with. I would cast him as Regis if I had my own Witcher adaptation lol
